Brown Pralines & Sweets is more than a candy shop. It is the continuation of a family story rooted in agriculture, entrepreneurship, faith, hard work, and the belief that some of life’s best memories are created around family and something sweet.
Our story begins in South Georgia with Jimmy and Merita Brown, who built Brown Pecans and established a family legacy connected to the land, agriculture, and the pecan. Their work created more than a business—it created a foundation for the generations that followed.
Growing up in that environment gave founder Timothy Brown an appreciation for family, community, entrepreneurship, and the importance of building something that could be passed from one generation to the next. Years later, those values became part of the inspiration for Brown Pralines & Sweets.
Today, Timothy carries that legacy forward alongside his sons, Jalen Brown and Cameron Brown. Together, they represent another generation of the Brown family story—honoring what came before them while creating something of their own.
At the heart of Brown Pralines & Sweets are our handcrafted Delectable Pecan Pralines, inspired by the Southern tradition of turning simple ingredients and pecans into something unforgettable. From our signature pralines to premium milk and dark chocolates, gummies, nostalgic candies, international treats, no-sugar-added selections and other sweets, our goal is simple: to create moments of happiness, connection and memories through great candy.
Our home is Boston, Georgia, a small South Georgia community where relationships still matter, neighbors know one another, and traditions are worth preserving. From our storefront at 107 S Main Street to customers ordering from across the country, we want every person who discovers Brown Pralines & Sweets to experience a little of the warmth and hospitality that define our family and our community.
Family remains at the center of everything we do. Brown Pralines & Sweets connects three generations—the agricultural foundation established by Jimmy and Merita Brown, Timothy’s vision for growing that legacy in a new direction, and Jalen and Cameron representing the next generation.
